Based in Saltdean, Brighton and originally from Adelaide, Australia, David Osborne is a skilled and experienced furniture designer/ maker, carpenter/ joiner, general builder and drummer.

He has a passion for design and takes pride in applying attention to detail and creativity to any job he is working on. 

David has been a partner in a general building firm, focusing on extensions, renovations, and refurbishments, as well as creating bespoke furniture pieces for clients.

He has also worked at the University of Brighton in Architecture And Design and has trade qualifications in engineering and furniture making, previously having furniture displayed and sold in galleries throughout Australia and Milan.

With his lifelong dedication to drumming, David utilises his building skills to design and build bespoke garden sound proof practice spaces and bespoke garden rooms. He starts every day with a practice session and a coffee in his own garden room!

His approach to his work is one of precision and creativity. He is constantly exploring new techniques and his intrigue of materials and making processes has led to furniture being made of metals, timbers, acrylics and composites including fibreglass, kevlar and carbon fibre.With a fully equipped joinery workshop in Newhaven,  he offers a personalised service in furniture design and making, fitted furniture, carpentry & joinery and bespoke music rooms/ garden rooms. David also undertakes small building projects. (Bricklaying, tiling, installing cladding etc).
